Easy-to-Make Taco Mac

If you read my November recipe, I mentioned my love of Mac & Cheese, and this recipe pays tribute to that love. This particular recipe was born out of a pregnancy craving, and has morphed into a (bit) more sophisticated version in the five years since that time. What I love about this creation is how easy it is, and how it can satisfy cravings like no other. I for one, crave salt ALL the time, but especially when I am on my period.

So, without further adieu, I give you, Taco Mac! 

Ingredients

  • Your favorite Boxed Mac & Cheese
  • Taco meat (I used beef- but any type of meat/substitute is fab!)
  • Diced tomato
  • Cilantro
  • Sour Cream 

Instructions

Make your Mac & Cheese according to box instructions. While waiting for that to finish, cook and season your meat. I suggest serving this in a bowl; Mac first, then meat, and top with the tomato, cilantro, and sour cream. 

EASY, and perfect to enjoy while binge watching bad holiday movies. As this year comes to a close, I have to say how much fun I’ve had coming up with recipes for Lady Times.
